AFS@Web allows:
- indexing any type of content, structured or not: HTML, PDF, Flash, XML, RSS, databases, directories, catalogs, etc.
- indexing external websites
- choosing an indexing frequency for each site
- precisely defining the zones of content to be processed on every web page, thereby allowing exclusion of navigation information that may be generate unwanted "noise"
- indexing immense volumes of data (tens of millions of documents)
